Monthly: Visual Inspection
Check springs, cables, rollers, and tracks for visible wear, rust, or damage. Look for fraying cables and cracked rollers.

Disconnect the opener and manually lift the door halfway. It should stay in place. If it falls or rises, the springs need adjustment.
Seasonal: Lubrication
Apply garage door lubricant (not WD-40) to springs, hinges, rollers, and tracks every 3–6 months.

Inspect bottom and side seals for cracks, gaps, or compression loss. Replace if light is visible around the door.
